Active-duty servicemembers with 6+ years of service (and commitment to serve 4 more) can transfer their Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to spouse or children — full tuition at any public in-state school, up to ~$28K/yr at private, plus housing stipend (BAH E-5 with dependents) and $1K/yr for books. Value: $150K–$250K of tax-free education funding per child.
